¶ EdgeTag
The EdgeTag device is currently in the second stage of Research & Development.
¶ Background
The OpenCollar Edge devices (like the RangerEdge, FenceEdge, CollarEdge, ElephantEdge) have the ability to scan for nearby BLE devices. This features called “contact tracing” can be combined with these low power EdgeTags. Combining these devices can form a contact tracing network with live contact reporting. I can be interesting for research on disease transmission or even as an alternative for heavy GPS tracking devices.
