¶ Description
The RangerEdge sensor is our most advanced sensor with LoRaWAN and Bluetooth connectivity for multiple asset tracking and monitoring applications. Based on the new OpenCollar Edge hardware and firmware platform, including the support for Machine Learning and the integrated sensors, it is future ready and supports a wide range of applications including vehicle tracking, ranger tracking, camera trap monitoring, tourist tracking or even intrusion detection based on RF or acoustic signals. The device features two high-capacity rechargeable batteries that can achieve a few months battery life on a single charge. Connected to a 5-30 Volt DC power source (like a vehicle battery), it will re-charge itself to run endlessly.
