The ElephantFree is an upgrade of the ElephantEdge tracker with addition of a RockBLOCK. The RockBLOCK allow the device to use Iridium Short-Burst Data (SBD). The RockBLOCK hosts an Iridium SBD transceiver, simplifies the power requirements, and provides a serial interface to the main control unit.
