This document is to assist in finding the correct settings for successful use and deployment of the ElephantEdge. All units come with a default configuration, but can differ based on the release data. So in any case all settings need to be double-checked before deployment.
Use the available buttons to get into the needed configuration window.
- Radio settings:
- Region: EU
- Data rate (for EU)
- 0 = SF12 → Use this if LoRaWAN coverage and or terrain is less optimal
- 1 = SF11 → Use this only in a very good LoRaWAN network coverage
- Re-join interval: 1 hour
- Almanac status:
- try to update almanac → not a problem is this does not work, as we do intend to use the LP1 GPS
- View and edit keys → please only change this if really needed and default credentials are compromised
- Status - port 4: 1 hour
- LP1 GPS: - port 1: OFF → Experience shows this can only work reliably on the RhinoEdge Puck 50.

- GPS Interval 1: 15 minutes

- Timeout: 65 seconds
